Craft Projects - Easter Peg Picture And Easter Bookmark

It doesn't seem that long ago that I was opening my last box of blogger network goodies from Baker Ross, but a new Easter themed box arrived a little while ago, and I've finally managed to get my craft on and come up with a couple of ideas.

This box looked quite challenging to start with, it had several Easter themed decopatch packs, but the rest was a blank canvas of quilling items, pegs, and some self adhesive hessian - what to do??

For this I used:
Orange ribbon (stash item)Patterned backing card (stash item)Sheep topper (stash item)Decopatch paper - 4 sheets in a pack, 4 different designs. £2.99 each. Would definitely recommend Baker Ross for their Artepatch range, some lovely designs in bright colours, and something a bit different to the standard offerings in the shops. I liked having bolder Easter patterns and plainer designs.Self adhesive hessian - £3.60 for 4 sheets. This could be my new favourite thing - like the idea of using a natural, textured back…

So Post Beauty Samples - Max Factor, YSL, Candy Crush And More!

One of my friends who is into comping and hunting out free things sent me a link a while back and said if I went on it I could get a free beauty sample, and could send her one back in return. At this point I was still a bit sceptical about what I'd get back, thinking it would just be a sachet with a tiny little drop of product in it, so I was quite surprised to receive a mini tube of Benefit Primer in the post - very usable, and lasted a little while too - a win all round.

I'm not sure where these free samples that are sent via So Post are advertised - whether the brands market these samples, or there's exclusive deals with freebie sites - I've only ever seen them promoted on one freebie page I jo…

Hi everyone,

It's been a little while since I have blogged craft - I was so overloaded with crafting for the Christmas shop I tried selling in, and then moved house - but now all my things are fairly well organised - in fact I think my craft stash is better organised than it was before - so I thought I'd share a couple of quick makes mainly using a Hunkydory card kit.

For anyone who doesn't know Hunkydory, their products are always really good quality, often foiled and detailed, and I've found you can get quite a lot out of one kit, even a topper kit if you are economical and don't try and use it all up on one or two projects. Their club is free to join and you get access to lots of content on their website, sometimes you will see a 'club price' for items if your signed up and signed in. They do free gifts - I was slightly sucked in when I saw the word 'free' - but every so often they introduce a members gift and you can order this, and either pay £…
